Our
Purpose
-
To promote and further
develop the Arabian horse through the medium of racing.
-
To encourage educational
and social activities which will enhance the racing, training, breeding and sale of Arabian horses.
-
To provide information and
statistics concerning Arabian racing in Michigan to the media, to
other breed organizations and the general public.
-
To work as
representatives of
Michigan Arabian Racing in cooperation with the
Michigan Department of
Agriculture, the
State Racing
Commission, the
Arabian
Horse Association and the
Arabian Jockey Club.

To assist in the
development of Arabian horse racing rules and to communicate the
Arabian Horsemen's needs to racetrack officials and assist the track
secretary by offering conditions for races.
Managing with Active
Members
and an Elected Board
Additionally, ARAB manages Arabian racing
in the state with a well organized Board of Directors who meet on a
regular basis throughout the year. At these meetings, the board
discusses all aspects of Michigan Arabian racing and plans accordingly.
The board implements those plans to make Michigan Arabian racing an ever
improving opportunity for those involved.

3rd, 2008 OPENING DAY Mount Pleasant Meadows post time 1:00 live racing on Saturdays. June -
September live racing Saturday and Sundays with the exception of
August 3, 9 and 10 when MPM is closed because of fair week.

family, the Roberts family, Rafael Ruvalcaba and Julie Post for all
the great help. Over 200 people signed up for the "day at the
races" raffle, and many want to know more about Arabian Racing.
Congratulation BARONS LADY, this years
recipient for the ORC awarded MICHIGAN BRED ARABIAN HORSE OF THE
YEAR! Pictured Eddie, Levi and Lori Roberts, proudly accept these
honors as owners and trainers. Lady is a 5 year old mare by
the stallion Baron Pasb and out of the mare Sheza Champ Ku by SX
Champion. Bred by Hickory Lane Farms in Sidney Michigan.
